Parents, spouses, children, siblings, grandparents, and grandchildren of current members are able and welcome to apply for membership. KSW can also assist your financial needs if your business or organization resides within the counties of Kennebec, Somerset, or Waldo.

Our field of membership includes anyone who lives, works, worships, goes to school, or volunteers in Kennebec or Somerset counties, and the following towns in Waldo county: City of Belfast, Belmont, Brooks, Jackson, Knox, Liberty, Monroe, Montville, Morrill, Searsmont, Swanville, Thorndike, Unity and Waldo.
Eligible members may join the credit union by opening and maintaining a $25.00 balance in a Savings Account. Once you have a membership you can take advantage of the many products and services KSW offers including low loan rates, checking accounts, and mobile banking options!
As a member of our credit union you are considered a part owner, so you have a say! Members have the right to elect, or be elected to the Board of Directors. The Board determines the policies and operations of the credit union based on member's needs. Members may also volunteer for appointed positions on the Supervisory Committee.
